Rapid Hyaluronic Acid - DRY SKIN FACE WASH (with PGA + Vitamin E) 50ML
About Product:
Hyaluronic Acid is a humectant: it attracts and holds water, helping to hydrate the skin.
When incorporated into a face wash, it aims to cleanse without drying out the skin — often by using mild surfactants, avoiding harsh sulfates, sometimes adding other moisturizing or skin-barrier supporting ingredients.
Benefits for Dry Skin
Some of the main benefits you’ll get if you use a hyaluronic acid face wash and pair it well with other hydrating steps:
Deep hydration :Helps replenish moisture lost during washing. Prevents that tight, flaky feeling.
Improves skin barrier :Reduces trans epidermal water loss, so skin retains moisture better.
Smoother, softer texture :Hydrated skin tends to be less rough, with fine lines softened.
Calming/less irritation :Because a good formulation avoids harshness, it’s easier on sensitive dry skin.
Better absorption of follow-up products: Post-wash hydration sets a good base for serums, creams, etc.
How to Use
To get the maximum benefit and avoid making dryness worse:
1. Use lukewarm water :hot water can strip oils and dry skin further.
2. Apply the face wash gently: in circular motions with hands, maybe 30-60 seconds, but don’t rub harshly.
3. Rinse thoroughly: but gently; pat dry with a soft towel (don’t rub).
4. Immediately moisturize: while skin is still slightly damp, apply a moisturizer to lock in moisture. HA will attract water, but without sealing it in, moisture may evaporate.
5. Frequency: usually twice a day (morning & night) works for many; some with very dry or sensitive skin might prefer only once (night) + gentle rinse/toner in morning. Adjust as per how your skin feels.
6. Patch test first, if it’s a new product — even HA washes can have other ingredients (fragrance, preservatives) that might irritate.
Also be mindful of the environment: very dry indoor air (AC, heaters) might reduce HA effectiveness, so use extra moisturizers or barrier-creams then.
Possible Downsides / Things to Check
* If the wash has very drying surfactants (strong foaming agents, high pH, sulfates), HA can’t completely compensate. Always check the full ingredient list.
* If the formula has fragrance or strong essential oils, could irritate sensitive dry skin.
* In very dry climates, using HA alone without a good occlusive (moisturizer or balm) afterwards may actually pull moisture from deeper layers (if the outer layer is very dry) — so layering is key.
